We at Tic Toc Tom believe in the power and dignity of work. To be more specific, we believe in farming out the power and dignity of work to people other than ourselves so that we can lounge comfortably with our feet up and, mai tais in our hands.

One such work hero is Glenn Bernabe. Not only is he a talented artist but, he is also very agreeable and willing to work for free (two qualities that are highly appreciated and sought after at TTT headquarters).

In the early days of the mini, Glenn (I know, he spells his name with 2 ‘N’s. But he’s not a diva, we promise) created artwork for the book, for trading cards and even pin-ups (humina-humina). In short, he was one of the good ones.

At least that’s what we thought until he submitted an invoice for work done 20 years ago. Now he’s just one of the ‘ok’ ones.
